As you reach the roundabout you will notice the No 1 Bistro (part of Mackay’s  hotel) on the right. This is in the Guinness book of records as the shortest street in the World. Ebenezer Place.

Netherby offers a Double and a Twin Room with en-suite facilities, central heating, Tea & Coffee, Television with Free-view, Free Wifi and a hairdryer. Iron & ironing board is available on request.

Caithness, being the most northernly county on the British mainland has a lot of daylight hours through the summer and is noted for the beautiful sunsets.

There are lots of activities Golf, Bowls, Music Shows (Every Wednesday night in the Pipe Band Hall in High Street) with Pipes, dancers song not forgetting tea & biscuits. There are beautiful walks along the beaches, cliffs and up the river. Loch fishing is also popular and boat hire can be arranged if need be.

John O’ Groats is only 17 miles north & ferries are available to the Orkney Islands. One ferry is passenger only but the other one takes vehicles.
